Prunus lusitanica (Portuguese Laurel)

A versatile evergreen with blackish-brown bark and glossy dark green oval leaves. Decorated with small white flower heads in spring and responds beautifully to pruning. An excellent choice for formal hedges, topiary and screens. Max height 5m. Also known as Cherry Laurel.
